That's a difficult question, it's natural to see a price drop given increased supply in the form of a suitable supplement, but I'm inclined to believe that Classics UM will command the highest price. I've seen Classics UM sell for $150 prior to the announcement, bought it myself for $80, and currently eBay completed listings still have it for $110 max. The price hierarchy starts with Complete Classics UM, Henkei UM, then Incomplete Classics UM. Seems like completionists are still willing to pay premium price for the perfect fit (for FP City Commander).

As Hasbro HK set Henkei UM with a high RRP (think it was $80?), it's not exactly the dirt cheap alternative. If I was a buyer I'd think, why not pay the extra $20-30 for the perfect fit. Completed FP City Commander is not a highly playable or poseable toy, so the 'effect' of completion is where the money is

Has Henkei UM been released yet? It seems like there's a Chinese seller selling them for $60 a pop, shipped without box.

    that is totally correct,
and I echo what SuspectimusPrime said, adding that it'll probably come down for a while when the Takara one is actually released. but might go back up a bit when the Takara one sells out.

Many reasons: Because it's a straight repaint of a figure I already have. Because I sold the City Commander armour years ago. Because I have too many Transformers and not enough happiness, and money might help me get happiness more than holding on to a Transformer toy would.

fair enough, I never had the prime, till more recently, so now I'm unreasonably attached to both. I really like the mold.

you know what they say though " Money doesn't buy happiness"

the others say "people who say that never had enough money"

I say give me more money so I can test that theory.

I had/have Classics Optimus Prime, Classics Ultra Magnus, Henkei Optimus Prime, Universe 2.0 Nemesis Prime, and Shattered Glass Optimus Prime. It's a good toy, but I only need one of it (and Henkei Optimus Prime was the winner).

If that's the case, then perhaps set up a Buy It Now auction at the highest price you're willing to let it go for and just float it (maybe list it under US currency to attract more buyers ). If you're in no hurry for the money, then you can afford to wait around for the highest paying customer - eBay will only charge you once its sold, so there is no loss for the downtime.

Money certainly does not buy unhappiness Having some around for a rainy day may get you out of a tight situation/period in life.

What would be reasonable price for a MIB Botcon 1997 Fractyl and Packrat set with comic?

I thought they were around $400, but this listing on ebay ended at $700. They don't pop up too often.

oops, edit while I'm at it:
    Loose Hasbro MP starscream, $80?

With hasbro MP Starscream New is usually 120-130 (including postage)
So used/loose/complete i would imagine to be at least 2/3 of that, so 80 isnt bad (if this includes postage)

Can't believe someone actually caved and forked out $700 for this set! Guess this buy represents a significant raising of the bar for this set...

I think Sky Shadow recently mentioned obtaining one a few years ago for $80 (sorry, cannot find that post). About 1-1.5 years ago I saw the same set go for about $200.
