My JP Black Movie Optimus arrived on Monday, which is pretty fast for something that didn't cost much to ship.
Has the same sound chip as the regular (Hasbro) Optimus, which I guess the Takara ones had as well.
I was surprised to find inside the BluRay case, a flyer promoting the new Animated series for Japan in 2010, and a couple of stickers.

Two things amusing...
1 - I now own a PS3 game for TF2 and the BluRay as well, but don't have anything to play either of them on.
2 - In a few days time I should have a third version of the Movie Optimus Mould (the 2-pack with Jetfire is in transit), but still haven't actually sat down and taken the time to transform the one I got 7 months ago.

Did you receive the bonus Legends Stealth Bumblebee with your JP Black Movie Prime? It is indeed different from the Hasbro version (which has been released and bought by fans at Hong Kong TRUs).

Both JP Black Movie Prime and the 2-pack one have much tighter joints than Hasbro Prime, except for the knee caps.

Oh... My... God...

I totally missed that. I just went and had another look in the box, and sure enough, it was in there. When I pulled out the big boxed Optimus and the Movie, there were some bits of cardboard and a white block that I didn't get a good look at, but just thought it was a block of styrofoam to keep the stuff from moving around.

That is like, the best surprise I've had in ages... to find a toy that I wasn't even expecting (I had no idea that the 'bonus' toy with the DVD had it's own bonus toy - I thought Stealth BBee was just a JP TRU exclusive). That makes this limited edition toy even better value - take out the cost of the BluRay, the Legends figure and the shipping, and that Leader sized toy isn't too much above what some stores here charged for that size class.

That litttle find has just made my day. Thanks Kyle.

Got Leader class Animated Megatron from Target on Sunday.
Was randomly scanning whatever they had and saw that he was $19.89 so I figured why not as he was $15 more the week before.

If you haven't transformed a rotf leader Prime yet, it might make a good post to set a timer and take a photo every 5 minutes from the unboxing to chart your progress. It took me about 40 minutes to transform him the first time and I was using instructions . But your superior transforming experience points (about +2350 greater than mine) should serve you well.
