Default BW Ep "Nemesis -- Part 2" animatic

Has anyone watched the animatic version of the BW ep "Nemesis -- Part 2"?

It's on the Beast Wars Season 3 DVD from Madman. It's more of a workprint version of the episode rather than a complete animatic version as a good deal of the footage was of completed animation.

Watched it for the first time tonight despite having the DVD for a while and was surprised to see it contained a few shots that ended up being deleted from the final version of the episode, such as Rhinox and Rattrap giving each other the thumbs up before Rhinox launches the Autobot shuttle.

I saw it, it also contained the contrversially deleted return of G1 Megatron's spark....I got the Madman DVD release and watched the whole series - 1 season per day.. boy were my eyes sore, but I was happy in those three winter days

Its the all 3 in one boxset- new release roller - cheaper but has it all
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

There was controversy? I remember that shortly after the episode first aired in 1999 Ben Yee posted an explanation about this deleted scene, then he later uploaded it for people to see. So fans have known for a very long time about what was supposed to have happened to G1 Megatron's Spark. Don't remember any controversy over it. :/

If there were I'm sure it would've been quickly forgotten a year later when everyone started jumping up and down screaming "Bob Skir killed my childhood and has ruined Transformers forever!!"

The controversy was that it was never shown in the actual episode jus assumed that it happened.

I think it's more accurate to say that it's a well-known (famous/notorious) continuity hiccup, but I don't think "controversy" is the right word as I don't recall any prolonged public debate, dispute or contention over the issue.

Usually it just goes like this:
    > Hey this doesn't make sense.
    > It's because they deleted a scene where it was explained.
    > Cool thanks
