I am curious about the "Armour" option. It would be ccol if the minicons could form an exoskeleton tyoe armour for the robot.
Colour me intrigued

I actually liked Armada, the mini-cons didn't bother me at all
. I'd be more than happy to buy an Armada version 2 over any of the movie trash we have received lately

I liked Armada too, but there were some things that could've been done better. Overall the Mini-Cons were pretty well engineered, but my gripe is with some of the Autobots and Decepticons whose engineering were somewhat compromised due to their gimmicks. Compare say Scavenger with Shockwave (Tidalwave). Shockwave's gimmicks compliment the toy nicely whereas Scavenger is overwhelmed by its gimmicks (and thus has chronically compromised engineering (or lack of)).
And of course, Armada Hot Shot's compromised engineering (particularly in the shoulders) has become stuff of legend!
...even Hasbro looks back and laughs at it now, as evidenced by the "jaAM!" reference on Universe Hot Shot's licence plate.![]()
Eeep not me, I consider Armada the second dark age of Transformers.
However this new bot has a promising vehicle mode, can't see the bot mode well enough to make an opinon on that though, plus iwhat size is he? I will admit I'm more keen on minicons that don't turn into tiny earth vehicles. I mean what was up with that? the big TF's turn into space vehicles, and the minicons turn into minature earthen vehicles but are to small to camouflage themselves as actual earth vehicles, and too big to be toy cars.
So yeah similaraties to Target Masters and decent earthen modes could get me interested in this series, but for now I'm neutral.
Armada was a solid idea, its just that the execution was lacking. I love the idea of getting 2 bots for 1.
Flatline would like to have words with you about Glit being the only Decepticon medic...Originally Posted by GoktimusPrime;146612I'd love to see another Decepticon medic. The only [URL="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Glit"
Not to mention 2 unnamed background Extras playing the role of Medic..
GRAAARRGHH! I haven't read Tales of the Fallen Arcee yet!! (it's still sitting in my standing order waiting to be picked up cos last time I came in I only had enough dosh on me to grab the latest issue of ongoing G1 and Timelines Wings of Honour)... gah... <averts eyes> (T_T) I didn't read DD's GI Joe vs Transformers, so I was unaware of those background extras.
Anyway, Glit's the only other Decepticon medic toy afaik. (that's what I meant, but I wasn't specific - my bad) -- no wait, I lie... there's also Doctor Scalpel!! <smacks forehead> Heh... Doctor Scalpel reminds me of Dr. Evazan - both specialising in homicidal surgery.
There are other Decepticon medics too including:
G1 Decepticon medic
Medicroids
Shattered Glass Hook
Shattered Glass Scrapper
In any case, I'm looking forward to adding another Decepticon medic to my ranks. One thing that used to irk me as a kid was at the end of a fight both Autobots and Decepticons would return to their respective headquarters to be repaired... Ratchet (and later First Aid and Fixit etc.) would repair the Autobots; but I had no toys to use as medics to repair the Decepticons. I would just have to _imagine_ medicroids going around fixing them. Damnit!Beast Wars wasn't so bad because everyone just used CR.

That's because cartoon Decepticons throw their wounded out the airlock like in Transformers the movie. Why do you think there were so many generic purple seekers and cassetes and other Deceps in the first episode? Every time one of the seekers (other than Starscream), or cassettes got mauled they'd just apply "Megatrons Mercy" and put them out of their misery. Then they would repaint one of the genericons in their fallen comrades colours. Given the amount of personality they displayed no one could tell the difference.![]()
