Default Who is this a drawing of?

So, I was given this gimmicky coloring/sticker book:

It's loaded with pics like these:

But then there's this one, isolated, different pic, which is clearly not from the same artist or from the movie:

    Who is it?

Perhaps there is something in this? Most of these sorts of things are produced before the finalisation of the movies arent they? A possible character perhaps or just a design that didnt make it to production?

How odd. It looks like a Dreamwave character design to me but I can't place it. The threads make me think Scavenger but the wings on the legs say no to that.

The title on the front suggests it isn't a licensed product, so could have grabbed the images from anywhere. It even has a picture of Optimus with Bbee, as if the truck is his alt-mode...
I'd agree with Paul's guess, in that it was taken from something in print, as none of the TF1 toys have wings on the legs like that, or treads and shoulders like that. I even had a look over toys since TF1, and up to Armada before, but couldn't spot anything too obvious. I have most of the TF1-2 comics, including a fair bit of the UK ones, so if I get a chance after work tonight, I'll have a quick look.

SMHFConvoy is actually right, it is Springer.
I did a quick TinEye search on the picture and the results identify this as War Within Springer, and it seems to be hosted on sites that provide pictures to color in.

Wow. Hadn't heard of or checked out Tin Eye before. Very cool.

I'm out now, but will see if I can identify the legitimacy of the book when I get home.

What is this 'TinEye' you speak of?

EDIT: Forgot there was such a thing as the interwebs Ahhh... a 'reverse image search engine'. Never knew something like this existed.

TinEye is pretty much the only properly working reverse image search engine around but it is not as complete as it could be (ie. it won't always find a match).
    But it's still useful sometimes

    A twist to this tale...

I looked through the War Within Comics, and found that Springer wasn't drawn like that.

So, I did a google image search for 'War Within Springer', and found the image above.
But looking at website, it appears to belong to a french artist, and looking at it through a website translater, I can't find any evidence that this artist even does anything official for TFs.
If this is true, the producer of that book has just stolen images off the internet, without any concern about who they belong to, or if they are even legit TFs characters/images.
