    On the balance I don't see the point in opening it because its just Windcharger in a different colour (and I assume you've handled lots of Windchargers before), unless, this is something the TF community has never seen and you intend to open him to take Seibertron style photos of the guy and share with the community.

    Can't see the point in reviewing this either because comments would be along the lines of (1) colour; (2) painted 'eyes'; (3) different chest sticker; and (4) whatever can't be seen on his back. Most of these you can tell from a visual inspection without touching the toy anyway. Sky Shadow made a great point about the quality of the toy and I guess that is the only thing in a review that cannot be done with it still sealed.

    While I'd happily vote for opening a great deal of G1 MISB stuff (especially Jap box stuff that has no plastic viewing window), in this case, I don't think the rewards of opening it outweigh its novelty and display value as sealed.

    My view above applies notwithstanding how much was paid for it (and I take Kup's point about opening something that's been sealed for 25 years).
