    Default Repaint of Drift 'confirmed'

..and Drift hasn't even come out!

There is some conjecture it may be an April Fool's Day joke, so take with a grain of salt for the moment

Even if it is an April Fool's joke - It's not a bad idea as long as they remold the head.

Please be true... I don't mind the character of Drift and I'll probably get the toy, but I really really like IDW Blurr (except in the Bumblebee miniseries where he became a fast talking cretin again...). And I don't like bots with sword, and given that he's never wielded a sword you can only hope that they've given him guns.

You could possibly get away with the bot mode but he certainly deserves a more sleek and speedy alt mode.

It does look a bit like his alt mode from ongoing - although in fairness that was more of a supercar looking thing than a modified streetcar.

If it's true then I'd buy that. Otherwise it'll just be a loose G1 Blurr for the Odieverse.

There are no G1 Blurr toys. Drift travelled back in time and repainted them all into Drifts.

    ...

Sorry, wrong thread. I thought this was 'Drift Facts'.

what IDW comic shows Drift as an earth-mode vehicle?, i couldn't find it. i wonder if the head is removable so it could fit with armadaverse or botcon Blurr, maybe even on Clocker

From memory Drift isn't ever shown in earth based vehicle mode during the comic itself, but was shown in vehicle mode in cover art (as something very close to a Nissan Skyline).

That said it's been a while since I've read through AHM so maybe I'm wrong.
