This is an interesting question as I am in the very early stages of preparing a meet myself. It's not going to be until the weather starts to warm up again and it will also give me a chance to finish my house off as this is where I plan on hosting the event. The purpose of my meet is a seperate little meet for wollongong/southcoasters although once I create a thread for it anyone who is willing to travel is welcome.
Basically I plan to have a BBQ with drinks (encouraging responsible drinking of course) with my big open plan living area opened up onto my back deck. I also hope to have my pool completed by then so it will also be a pool party. I also plan to have all my tf cartoons/movies available to play on my flat screen at my guests requests and also toys on display (I may need the_damned's help there)Thats my plan for a meet anyway... Hope it works.
Anyway enough about my meet. Food... generally I think TF fans are quite inmature so junk food would be on the menu. If you are looking to attract guys then you dancing around a pole is a definite winnerSeriously if you are looking to attract the opposite sex I would suggest a pool based event as swim wear would be worn which would attract guys attention. As far as entertainment goes TF shopping seems to be a succesful activity even if no toys are bought. Toys to play with or various TF board/card games or if you are hosting the at your house TF cartoons/movies playing on your TV should do the trick.
