Default Hunt for Decepticons Scouts and Power Core Combiners Release Dates

2005 Boards member D Drive has sent us some information regarding the Canadian release dates of the first assortment of the new "Hunt for the Decepticons" Scout series, as well as the much-awaited Power Core Combiners. Hunt for the Decepticons Scouts Hubcap, Crankstart, Brimstone and Backfire are due to hit suppliers in May 2010. Also due to hit retailers in May 2010 are the first assortments of Power Core Combiners, Scout two packs Huffer, Smolder and Searchlight along with the larger Commander Class sets Bombshock with Combaticons and Skyburst with Aerialbots. Other items expected in May include the new Power Bots Optimus Prime and a Stealth Bumblebee Powerbot, plus voice masks for Bumblebee and Optimus Prime, which are probably repackaged versions of the previous voice changer masks.

This is all tentative information relating to a Canadian retailer, but it gives us an idea of when we might begin seeing these new toys on shelves.

yeah it really dissapointed me , coz they bothered giving names to the limb bots for the Energon Combiners - which are disspointingly just mirror image bots, while the new powercore ones have variation for each limb yet has no name and are relegated to be just like drone bots

That was something I stressed in the Toyfair report - the limbs are mindless drones like Energon Optimus had, so don't have names. Each is just like armour for the Commander figures, and most auto-convert when plugged onto the Commander's limb, so aren't even manually transformable.
Did anyone name the drones for Energon Optimus? If not, why name these ones, which serve the same purpose and have about the same level of conversion?

I didnt get to read it all bossbo. I just like to look at the pretty pictures

So the "drones" dont have individual bot modes, do they? coz all Ive seen in promo pics are just altmodes... if they dont have bot modes then I agree there's no point giving em individual personas, since they're just armour like Energon Fatimus's limbs. Makes the new Combiner techs like the old school mechas then - VoltezV, Voltron and Combattler V type, albeit the limbs are non personas.

The auto convert sounds very interesting!

Anyways. Im getting all these heheheh
