Default Monochrome Disney Label Buzz Lightyear.

Like we didn't expect this would happen.

Colour version is scheduled for June, while the monochrome version is slated for July.

I can understand the logic of a Donald or Mickey monochrome repaint but Buzz? Yeah I expected it too but that doesn't make it any less pointless.

Yup, my thoughts exactly there Kup.

Whats the point to a Monochrome Buzz? Ive said that I like the Mickey and Donalds, coz its justified. Buzz? Not in the slightest...

Yeah I agree. If they made a Woody Transformer, then a monochrome version would make sense... but Buzz? Meh.

It's like Monochrome is Takara's new black. ;D

I have to agree with everyone else on this, it makes zero sense and makes the mold look worse in my opinion (although I didn't particularly like the look of this mold in the first case).

Really? I love the look of this mould. I've never been interested in any of the Disney Label TFs before. I love how the robot mode really looks like Buzz and the alt mode looks like his spaceship. There's no obvious sign of alt mode kibble in humanoid mode and I don't see much of the humanoid mode in alt mode -- overall it looks to be a well engineered toy and good "robot in disguise."

Of course, this is just judging on a few photos - the toy may look quite different IRL, but personally I like what I've seen so far.

Yeh, thats what I thought too. Out of all the disney Labels, this looks the best in capturing the feeling of the character.

Although Mickey and Donald were controlling robots rather than being the robot. I am looking forward to the colour one at least. Lets hope it has glowing green paint like the real Buzz has!

I probably should have worded that different.
I don't think it looks like a bad mold, It just has no appeal to me.
I would have much rather have it transform into a Buzz mech like the other Disney labels.

A better pic of the monochrome version:

Not so 'monochrome' now, but still looks odd for Buzz.
