    Default JP Animated Arcee pics.

    Animated Arcee has been released now in Japan, probably brought forward to their second wave to cash in on a high-demand character of Transformers as a whole, not just Animated, which didn't see a proper Hasbro release.

    Either way, the toy has some minor colour differences, but doesn't appear to have any shiny decos like most other JP Animated toys. The brown looks odd too.

    Agree totally.
    So glad I picked up the American release now, even if it cost a bit extra.
    Soundwave superior. All others inferior!

    A Hasbro release better than the Takara / Tomy one???

    <clicks on link>

    Well, what do you know... it is better

    I got to say that I like the TakTom packaging better, but we don't buy toys for the packaging do we

    The brown really doesn't look very good, the Hasbro version is definately superior.
    Now to find one that isn't ridiculously overpriced... ~is dreaming~

    The colours/paint apps are much richer than the hasbro one. The brown is off, but can be painted over.

    I was lucky, I got a friend to get one for me in the US for retail price.
    I like the mold, only problem (and this is variable) is that the paint apps aren't very good. But this has plagued the entire line somewhat.
