saw that twitter picture of the takara superion and thought i might try a couple of poses with my own. i haven't really tried much since i got them, in fact they've hardly been in combined mode at all.
it can be a bit fiddly trying to get him stable and not falling over. to be honest though compared to the old G1 versions it's fantastic you can do anything at all apart from the sort of static standing pose so i'm happy with that.
not sure about alpha bravo's robot arms, i think they look sleeker tucked in like the top photo but i think in that configuration they get in the way. i might just have the combiner arms/elbows around the wrong way or something anyway, not sure!

menasor doesn't seem anywhere near as stable as superion, but i think i may just have a crappy motormaster. he really needed the extra grip/resistance from the placemat.

I agree; it's a flaw in the Motormaster design that makes him an unstable gestalt core.

i also tried something funny in the background with swerve and chromia as well.
geez i'm blowing my own horn a bit here
i'm a bit disappointed about it, he literally cannot stand up straight on his own, he leans to the side one way or the other or is too unstable somewhere that the hips just give way and he does the splits. not sure if he's just a little floppier than others or just plain crap
