I've been dabbling in a few different things over the last few weeks in the very little spare time I've had, but I came across some ark, nemesis and teletraan-1 papercraft templates so I've started putting them together for my displays. They used a lot of ink, but were worth it. The scale unfortunately is limited to my a4 printer so Teletraan-1 is a bit smaller than I would've liked.





I'm still yet to print the ark plates, as soon as I do I will post pics.

I've also been painting the inside of CW Ultra Magnus' chest because it was, well, so white. I'm also going to add more paint apps to Minimus Ambus for the same reason to make him more comic accurate. That is a job for next week. In the meantime, here's what I've done so far (screens are reprolabels obviously).

I started to make one in A3. Had a hell of a time with the paper ripping or not holding shape. I built a frame for it but I need to print it on thicker paper or card to get it to sit right.

I used A4 as that's all my little printer can handle. I would definitely recommend using thick card to print on though. I didn't have any problems with ripping, only some curling from going around the printer rollers on the larger panels of Teletraan 1. I think I might cut some balsa strips and glue them on the insides of the back and sides, especially at the base to straighten the card. I could only imagine the problem would be worse on an A3 version so definitely glue some balsa reinforcements before you connect them all together.
