I went to buy the ROTF game today, and apparently all the Dick Smith's are sold out due to scalpers! They won't even let me have $10 worth of gaming fun. Is that too much to ask? To have some fun as a transformer for $10? ARgggh, I hate these people! I spoke to one of the employees and he said somone just left with 10 copies.
They should've put a 1 copy per person rule. Now they're probably all on ebay selling for $100.
Anyone know other stores that price match?
And if anyone comes across a scalper, punch em straight in the face for me.
I thought the game was past its period of popularity by now? $10 is still way below what I would expect of any year-old game, but would anyone be that keen to pay more than $20-30 for it anyway? I spose that's still profit for those buying up all the $10 copies.
A lot of people are also buying them as trade in fodder - specifically with JB HIFI and their trade in 3 games and get one free, what they don't understand is that JB won't accept multiples of the one game and that ROTF is on the exclusions list. http://www.jbhifi.com.au/games/disclaimers/

While trade and save is not something I generally do (like Transformers I generally buy them for keeps), that is a ridiculously exclusionary list - some of those games aren't even a year old.
Looks like Transformers:War for Cybertron release date is fast approching.
anyway, i was in DSE Blacktown last Friday and it looks like they had more than 2-5 of them...
This is if, anyone is interested in this info of course.![]()
