Super simple toy. Virtually identical to Lugnut without the automorph and with less articulation.

Required for any Animated fan. Completely avoidable for anyone else.

I was a bit disappointed the first time I played with it. It looks like an Animated toy, but somehow, the execution is a bit lacking, there's nothing really exciting about the mold. Still good to have though.

I assume he suffers from the same Bulkhead Syndrome too, right?

Being naturally biased towards all things animated, I like it. It does have very similar Transformations as Lugnuts, but the executions is a little better.

With the way the rear rotor blades become the weapon, the back of this guy is neater looking than LN and even though he acks the physical height, I think the menace and size of the character is carried off particularly well in the mould.

Just a shame he can't go toe to toe with Omega Supreme in toy form...

P>S, How can you not love a gun with so many miniguns attached to him

Characters who're meant to be big and bulky having small robot modes due to transformation, i.e. Bulkhead, Lugnut and presumably Blackout (definitely Movie Blackout anyway) all being Voyagers but being small than most Deluxes.
Lugnut should so have been a Leader class dammit.

I received my Takara Animated Blackout on Friday and am over the moon with him! As with all toys from this fantasticTransformers line, he's positively bursting with character - just looking at him I feel like he could spring into life at any moment. Animated is still the best.
