Default Last Stand of the Wreckers: Dead Men's Boots Mosaic

Here's Dead Mens Boots, a Mosaic by the Last Stand of the Wreckers team that serves as a sort of prequel to the comic, and is probably the only in-continuity Mosaic*.

*Well, there was Hail and Farewell by Furman, but IDW screwed that over so they could do AHM.

That's kewl. Are they gonna print that in an upcoming issue? I was reading a TF Mosaic just last night and thinking about how they should bring them back.

"I suppose if you count Rack'N'Ruin as one robot." <--lol, Ironfist is such a fanboy (after my own heart)

Nah, and upon reflection, unless Hasbro gives the okay for it (which, as far as I know, they don't for Mosiacs), this isn't canon.

I think there was some copyright/permissions/usage issue with putting mosaics in the comic books. Like, everyone who worked on a mosaic would have to sign and fax through some kind of relase granting idw and hasbro rights to their works so they could legally publish it.

"bah! too messy!" said IDW. Is I think what basically happened.

They printed 6 (one of which was mine and art by Robby Musso!!! soooo cool) but then stopped. It came about quickly and disappeared as such. I think mainly an edict from hasbro.

It would be awesome if this one could go in the Last Stand trade, but don't think it's likely.

Seibertron website posts up the Mosaics everyday on their site, so fans are still doing heaps of them. But as some have already said, they aren't cleared by Hasbro as being official or canon.
