BotCon customising figure is... G2 Sideswipe!

This would be a colour version that Hasbro wouldn't likely do a general release of to stores... and FunPub won't be doing it as a Club exclusive now, or else it would upset those in the customising class.
So for anyone wanting a Gen2 Sideswipe figure in the Classics/Universe line, your chances are now very slim.

With only about a hundred of these things being handmade by convention attendees (almost all will keep it), this figure will be in demand on the secondary market.

Also wanted to note that this is figure is moulded in new plastic colours, different to any previous release, so had to be exclusively produced for BotCon in those colours, at only about 50-100 units.

Looks like I'm going to have to get the upcoming Generations Red Alert to customize into G2 Sideswipe - at least RA has bits in red and white already

That would be an easy redeco if you had Red Alert.

Sideswipe looks great.

A previous customing figure (Overkill) eventually was released by Hasbro. I hope they consider doing the same with this recolour concept.
