hmm so they are making a Fugitive wasp ei? or plan to... wish they'll make an activator version as well. That Deluxe bee mold just doesnt fit in sizewise (what am I talking about, in the whole history of TFs sizing has ALWAYS been a problem/major frustration!!) with the rest of the figs.

Sorry to revive an old topic, but better than starting a new one on the same subject. I kind of went into hiatus on trying to track down what was left in the Animated series but I've come back around to it. I've now picked up the final American releases such as Arcee, Rodimus and Cybertron Ironhide/Ratchet, and I know I need to get JP releases like Blackout, Wingblade Optimus, Jetpack Bumblebee and Soundblaster (Activator). I also managed to pick up the JP Skywarp and Ramjet Activators.

But I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by the amount of stuff still out there - Black Rodimus, Black Optimus Prime, Elite Guard Prowl, the Sons Of Cybertron set. Then on top of that there's all the neat Botcon stuff like Cheetor, the Stunticons set (which I absolutely love), the Autotroopers, Fisitron, Toxitron and Sideswipe.

My question is really where the line should be drawn on what is a 'complete' collection. I know that's entirely up to me in this context but I'm interested to hear the opinions of others.

My idea of a complete TFA collection is every characters Hasbro release (full scale for each toy bar BB where my preference goes to the activator) and the following:

-Custom Wasp made from an Activator Bumblebee (my favourite TFA character, I couldn't imagine my collection without the little fella)
-All Botcon 2011 toys (as average as I find her bot mode, I really hope Minerva gets a commercial release...It's a horrible feeling knowing how unattainable this characters toy is )
    -TFCC Cheetor
    -Takara Blackout
    -Takara Soundblaster (deluxe)
-Takara Activator Ramjet (nice going finding one, this is still on my to buy list)
    -Takara Jetpack Optimus & Bumblebee

As for toys like Elite Guard BB, Prowl & Prime, Black Takara Rodimus, the clear toys etc. I think they're ugly and pointless

you need a deluxe springer and minerva too.

but seriously the botcon stuff is really pricey so i wouldn't care about them too much.

Wasn't Springer a fan-made custom? The Botcon toys are expensive but if you love TFA and can afford them, they're totally worth it. If you can't afford all of the toys, my advice is to go for just the box set. The Motormaster & Breakdown are ridiculously cool and the best uses of each respective mould in my humble opinion.

The way I see it, buying the Botcon toys is a win-win situation. If you ever regret buying them, chuck them back on ebay and you'll get as much, if not more than you paid for them in the first place. You won't want to sell them though!

As far as I can tell, there is no deluxe Soundblaster, just an Activator. It's basically just an Activator version of Electrostatic Soundwave by another name.

PS, Thanks mods for moving the topic.
