Default One-off Iron Man 2 Crossovers wave

I think Hasbro have missed the boat on this one, now that the Ironman 2 Movie is pretty much off the screens now. But coming out in America soon (maybe not here though, as we haven't had any success with Marvel Crossovers toys), is an assortment case of just Ironman Crossover Transformers (4 figures - 3 redecos, one remould), with their own Ironman 2 packaging.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-...series-170160/

They are images from the walmart website, so could even be Walmart exclusives there.

    Included in this one-off assortment:
Ironman Jet (minor redeco from wave 1)
Ironman car (minor redeco from wave 6)
War Machine jet (major redeco from the 2-pack combiner)
Ironman 4x4 (remould of the Captain America from wave 3)

This would probably considered wave 7 or 8 of the Marvel Crossovers, while we are still stuck on wave 2 here in Australia.

    **plays Black Sabbath riff**...

...I've been so tempted to buy Transformers Marvel Crossovers, but in the end my wallet tells me that I should spend my money on mainline TFs.

They're not classed as equivalent to a mainline Deluxe, and never have been. They have always been sized and priced mid-way between Deluxe and Voyager.
US RRP for Deluxe - $13
US RRP for Crossovers - $16
US RRP for Voyagers - $20
(and the Crossovers price was actually closer to Voyager, when Deluxes were $10 before last year's price rise)

Compare Crossover toys to regular Deluxe and Voyager vehicles of the same shape - most are alot closer to the bulk/size of Voyager toys.

Here in AUS, our Deluxes are between $25-30, and Voyagers are between $40-50, so stores here are pricing them accurately at $30-40 (the same mid-point as US RRP).

    I'm with Zippo on this.

That car looks the best of the lot but I'm in no great rush to find it.
