Imagine 2 scenarios:
Furman designs Primus as in the picture you posted, but Takara releases the blue Primus. INNACURATE!
Furman designs Primus in blue, Takara releases the blue Primus. ACCURATE!

The toy is the same in both scenarios, but an intangible feeling you get from the original drawing is affecting your like or dislike of it.

For me, i can't buy a toy if i don't like the look, so i can't understand how you'd buy something just because it was coloured like canon. I call it the G2 Botcon toys curse!
