    Default Windcharger and Chopsaw pics

Probably in the next wave of Scouts to be released after Sunspot and FireTrap, around Christmas time.

Windcharger is a new mould, in the new subline - Reveal the Sheild.
Chopsaw is a redeco of Brimstone, which was in the first wave.

Problem I have with the RtS subline - no allegiance symbols on the actual toys. It means if the sticker ever comes off, it doesn't have an allegiance symbol, and pre-production figures might not have anything on them to let us know what allegiance an upcoming toy is going to be. Not to mention, if a toy has the wrong sticker put on it by the factory...

(also - am probably going to post most RtS toy news in the general news section, since it is not exclusively Movie Universe, like Generations, and the Movie News section can just be for actual TF3 news and Movie Cast toys)

Windcharger is a defo for me, but the best bit about Chopsaw is the Scarlett figure -.- That's some seriously odd deco choice, it looks like candy or something. Glad I got Brimstone now, because I like the mold, wasn't totally in love with the deco, but it is way better than this one imo. And yes, good point about the allegiance symbols, with Windcharger being a perfect example, as his sole insignia is completely hidden in bot mode... erm, yeah... Let's hope they remedy this, but unlikely...

Please have a listen to my songs. Feel free to comment if you wish, any constructive feedback is appreciated =o)

Windcharger's head kinda looks Megatronesque. Looks good though.

There's more pics at Tformers here. It has the vehicle & robot mode properly transformed and it shows off the magnet gimmick and some posability too.

According to them he'll be out next month (I assume in the US).

The headsculpt looks pretty spot-on to me:

    - but I get what you mean by the Megatron vibe.

I would so dig a white and blue version of this too as Tailgate, preferably with a new head (or at least a new face).

Looks like he has the 3mm posts on his magnet things.

Not a fan of his back kibble...

I know he's only a scout so I'll cut him some slack, but he looks too shell-former'ish' IMO.

Yeah, for an inexpensive little Scout toy I can easily forgive the back kibble

It is definitely a good likeness, but I think the main difference between the Windcharger head sculpt and the G1 model is that the lower portion of the 'helmet' is wider than the top, which - when combined with the rest of the head - gives Windcharger an uncanny Megatron vibe.

I'm not really complaining about it - I do think the toy looks good. It's just a kind of funny probably unintended side effect. HasTak could repaint this toy as Scout Class Megatron if they wanted to (in the colours of Alternity Megatron - they could even make a limited/chase black Megatron repaint). Or better yet, repaint it as CHUGUR Megaplex.

Windcharger looks good if a little cheap. Hopefully it will look better in hand.
