I think that should be 'Special Ops Jazz' Griff.

Nonetheless, some of those bios are quite humourous...

This sounds like a normal bio but it does reveal which side Jazz is on:
AUTOBOT JAZZ falls in love with every world he visits. The tiniest hint of alien culture is enough to fascinate him for hours. His ability to immerse himself in a new civilization makes him an ideal undercover agent – he blends in with the environment, absorbing every bit of data he can, and looks for the anomaly that tells him DECEPTICONS are present.
On the other hand, this gives no clue:
Turn the tables on enemy forces when you throw this warrior into the fight! Press the button to reveal this figure’s robot allegiance and then prepare him for a battle. Your SPECIAL OPS JAZZ figure is dedicated to destroying any opponent and his deployable speakers and blaster will help you two get the job done. If robot combat turns into a car chase, convert your warrior into street rally vehicle mode and send him racing off to rule the “road”!
The boxes should have that second bio to keep in spirit with the gimmick, and point to the website to find the full profile.

Exclamation Reveal The Shield - worst gimmick ever!

The whole gimmick kinda sucks anyway... who's going to read the whole bio to figure out which faction the character is with when it prominently displays the faction logo on the back of the card?

They should have just added them to the Generations line...

I think that if anyone who buys these doesn't know that Megatron is a Decepticon and Optimus Prime is an Autobot deserves to be slapped

But when it comes to someone like Mirage, who knows who's side he is on. I mean, Cliffjumper didn't even know

My point is that guys like Mindset and Fallback makes it kinda hard to figure out what faction they're in, so the whole 'Reveal The Shield' thing would be cool except for the fact that they advertise the faction logo on the back of the card, which makes the whole thing stupid.

It should be restricted to something insignificant, like drones or cannon-fodder redecos - like the Minispies from 1985... The toys themselves only had the rub sign, but were randomly packed in with other TFs toys, so you had to get them out and rub the black square to find out if you had another Autobot toy or Decepticon toy in your collection. It defeats the purpose doing it with established characters, or with the allegiance symbols/bios on the packaging.

But I'm more annoyed that it means there probably aren't any allegiance symbols painted on these RtS toys, which I like seeing on them when displayed.

So far with the current releases, they don't have the faction symbols painted on anywhere, however, Strafe sorta makes up for their absence in one go (biggest Autobot insignia ever - have a look at the wings!)
