KOs found in Australia

I thought these sort of counterfeits (of current stuff) were more easily enforceable by government agencies. Why wouldn't this sort of store be raided and shut down, or heavily fined, I wonder.

It's funny you mention this. I was at the Penrith markets about a year ago and some Police and goverment officials were confiscating a whole heap of counterfeit clothing from 2 stalls, while completing ignoring the toy/tool store inbetween the others selling obviously counterfiet items (toys, games, ab crunchers/kitchen gizmos).

That seller was still going strong the next time I visited about 9 months later!

I guess they only take action on specific items that the brand/proprietary owner specifically reports to the police... maybe they don't just do random raids in this country.

Dirge and I saw some of those in Sydney when I was down there a couple months ago. It's one thing to KO a current/recent toy, but packaging it with TFs logos and themes can really throw off a parent who wouldn't know what the legit packaging should look like.

Spotted these today in Toyworld (well toyworld affiliate anyway).

Now this is one very misleading KO for parents
I'm quite out of touch with current movie wave TFs and this one looks very attractive due to the fact that you're getting a mask and robot in one package at a low "sale" price... I'd happily buy that for my kids if I weren't aware.
I guess when you turn the box around, there'll probably be limited english and a crappy picture of how to transform the toy... which will be a dead giveaway that it's a KO.

The worse the better as it's easier for the average person to look at them and say "what the, they don't look right to me"

Rockingham. Last time I was there, they had more KO TFs than real TFs. Those 'Transformables' I think
