I had the original ROTF Mindwipe deco of this mold, but still saw fit to grab this guy since it was such a cool mold to start with.

IMO, I like the red/white deco whereas Mindwipe was just black/charcoal and the lighter colours help to give this guy more display shelf 'presence'.

It's a good pick up if you missed out on Mindwipe, but otherwise it's only worthwhile getting at a cheap price.

This guy also has probably the biggest Autobot faction symbol ever seen on any TF - just check out his wings! That alone, earns him one full extra mark.

It's just a pity that this deco doesn't have a partner like the previous two did. If only the Sunspot figure was an Autobot, so that it could at least pair up, even if the colours didn't match as well as Mindwipe/Skystalker or Dreadwing/Smokescreen did.

Well, according to Sunspot's bio he's not very bright at all, being lucky enough to even stay in the air. I imagine his severe lack of intelligence makes him very impressionable, and so pairing him up with Strafe could be totally plausible.

having low intelligence doesn't necessarily effect one's loyalties. After all, Starscream's not a complete moron, yet he's treacherous. Lugnut and BW Scorponok are simpletons who are fiercely loyal. The Dinobots are all loyal to Grimlock and will follow him to whatever end (and likewise Grimlock is unwaveringly loyal to his Dinobots).

I thought Sunspot was an Autobot with those happy colours. Shows how much attention I'm paying to these repaints.

That's one badass Autobot. Those blades definitely convey 'GIVE ME YOUR FACE'

I still prefer the darker Mindwipe colour of this mold. The head is more Decepticon looking than Autobot.

I absolutely love the light blue accents on the shoulders.

I'll look to pick this up when/if I see it.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

I vote no to this. I saw it in store for the first time today. The white and grey plastics look very cheap and the painting on the head was poor. The combined impact was that it looked like a knock off. Very easy to pass on.
