Default Toy Review - RtS Wreck Gar

I suppose it's a good thing that Hasbro has decided to re-do some of the original 1986 Movie cast, but I was never a fan of the Junkions to start with.

Here we have the first release (of at least another 2 redecos apparently) of this mold, Wreck Gar.

He's a nice homage to the original character and is sculpted very nicely with excellent articulation and poseability.

The transformation is quite simplistic - so much so that it makes me think that Hasbro must have gotten a 5 year old to rate it as "Intermediate" in difficulty.

Wreck Gar displays very well and his hand held weapon is very cool - my only gripe about this guy is the abundance of Hasbro grey on him.

For you customizers out there, cover up the grey with some paint and while you're at, apply some to his weapon and voila - he's complete!

This guy's worth paying $20 for, but definitely not worth full freight IMO.

I give it a rating of 7.5/10 (only because I don't like the Junkions and the abundance of Hasbro grey on this guy, most people would probably rate him an 8 or 8.5)

let me just get this straight, did you order these from overseas or did you pick them up in Australia somewhere.

If you got them here, tell me where, so I can go and get my own.

They both ordered from Robot Kingdom, they were impatient (so am I, but I didn't have the funds to get them online yet)

Thumbs up rts deluxe wreck gar

i love this figure,i have 1 & will most likely end up getting at least 1 more!(i have seen that he is a good robot rider for bike!)
he is a good representation as/of wreck gar's appearance in the 1986 animated movie imo!("or your money back" & so many more memorable quotes-voiced by eric idle)

Got Wreck Gar today. He's nicer than I expected. Even the abundant grays look better in person than in the photos (it's not your standard fare of bland Hasbro gray). Posted some action piccies here.

Great toy. Love the robot mode, especially the head as others have said. I did initially give up on back-to-bike transformation, but after a quick check of the manual, have been able to do it quickly and accurately since.

Alt mode is a bit big if displayed as such next to line mates, but a necessary size for riding one's self.

I've already got two and intend to build an army with this one.

After reading all of these reviews I simply could not pass on the opportunity of owning him.

Now I just got to work out where I can display him
