Default Transformers GT - Japan Super GT and Transformers Collaboration

    From TFW2005:

    News from Autobase Aichi.

Prototype of new series "TRANSFORMERS GT" to be showcased at Dengeki's 20th anniversary festival at Makuhari Messe convention centre on Oct 20-21.

The promotional image provided suggests that it will be a remolded Super GT race version of the Alternity GT-R mold with sponsor logos.

Which brings us to where we are today...

I'll probably cave in and buy this. I just hope the series consists of more than 1 figure. Wouldn't mind seeing some older Super GT cars like the Calsonic R34!

The modified car mode doesn't inspire me that much, but the word "series" makes me hope that we see new moulds in that Alternity style (detailing and diecast)... as they've pretty much over-used the existing ones now (5 versions of Optimus, 4 of Megatron and Starscream, 3 of Bumblebee).

Hope they aren't just planning to just remould/redeco the Optimus mould several times, as race car fans know that the one form of car-body is used by many drivers in races.

That looks different enough to consider purchasing. More interesting however is that new Breakdown figure.

Oh yeah. A bit too vanilla for my tastes.

I love the look of the Calsonic cars. These are all on the 'to buy' list.

Three more of the same mould they've used 5 times already...
At least these ones have new heads.
