    In regards to the toy line;

    In this Q&A with Aaron Archer of Hasbro and Activision regarding the upcoming War for Cybertron Game:http://www.seibertron.com/transforme...bertron/17547/

    He says this about the toys:
    I know you all want to know about this, but there's not much to discuss. They weren't allowed to talk about the product yet. However, things that they aren't allowed to talk about are still things that exist. So, we know that there will be corresponding toys to the story and game.

    This is strong evidence to support a toyline and with lots of attention the the Movies, Hasbro/Activision has been able to keep this game under wraps for nearly 3 years as the project has been in development since 2007, hopefully this means they have more prototypes in production.

    But would Hasbro really go to all this effort with the game and not create a toyline?

    Hopefully you are right.

    I'd assume that there will be an Autobot and Decepticon campaign, so would the 6-8 main characters spotted in this video be the playable characters? (Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Omega Supreme, Megatron, Skywarp, Soundwave, Trypticon).

    Anywho the game trailer is fantastic, lets hope the game measures up!
    I don't know if Omega and Trypticon will be playable characters. I would say they would be boss characters like Tidal Wave in the Armada game on PS2

    It doesn't look like they are:

    (that is, they ARE doing a toyline)

    And based on the toy and the trailer, they're drawing heavy influence from some of the old TransTech designs, at least for Prime:

    I finally got to watch it and have to say, OMFG

    That looks so sweet. I hope that if they got Peter Cullen to do the voice over, that he will be doing voices in the game, as well as for a new series if this is to be a precursor.

    That's some very nice cut scenes, not sure that translates into a game I want to play though. It's good to see Trypticon again though that much Im certain of. A new Trypticon toy would be cool if done well.

    I rather like how it's inherited some of the darkness of the movies (and comics too), it looks like they have a proper gritty war, not some cartoony laser battle.

    The trailer looks really awesome. If the game lives up to the potential seen, it will be worth shelling out big bucks for!
