I always am sceptical when I hear of a Big W sale. They never seem to have what they advertise on the shelf even when I go there at 6 am for their 'big' sales.

The standard response is always "Is it on the shelf? If it's not on the shelf, we have sold out".

Rouse Hill Big W is notorious for their poor customer service. I even had one chick sigh under her breath when I approached the counter to buy something. She went on a rant saying "how am I supposed to finish this stocktake when customers repeatedly come and bother me... oh, I don't mean you".

It's great that they've got a sale starting, but I agree with 5FDP, both of the Big W's around my area never have any decent stock anyway... even when you go there first thing.

Hmm...

Well I was at Big W at Chullora on Sunday, and there was 1 bludgeon, and 2 mindwipes, and decent amount of stock of TFA and ROTF.
Also Rotf Leader Prime and that shadow repaint megs.

Nothing interesting to me though.

thursday is still two days away... and you saw it on sunday, could be gone by then specially since I think bludgeon is quite a sought out toy? in the big w's near me, they have a good amount of deluxes but very few voyagers (mostly just starscream in robot mode), so hopefully they'll restock

Yeah that's one of my local stores, but as christalcase mentioned, they'd probably be sold by Thursday so hopefully they do a restock.

I added Bludgeon ages ago and none of the other ROTF toys interest me, but I'm semi-tempted to get Rambo Ironhide, purely cause I like how he's armed to the teeth!

As I posted in the sightings thread, it seems Big W update the prices on their system and the shelves even before the sale is meant to start.... no wonder they never seem to have any stock, people like me sneak in just before closing time the night before and snap up the good stuff!

insider: i believe the sales price "goes live" at about 2 pm on the day prior to the advert starting.
