And? What is the point in seeing stuff right upon release? Really, please answer that. What could I possibly be missing out on? I thought I made it clear what I was missing out on.

And dude, I only saw the 3rd matrix movie this year for the first time. I'm not an impulse movie junkie trend whore.

I rarely go to the cinemas now for those very same reasons. I'll now go only if I think the film warrants a big screen and big sound (or I get free tickets ).

Oh, so I guess that anyone who sees a movie upon release is a trend whore now is it? I guess that means anyone who watched Transformers in its cinema run is a trend whore then by your rationale. Or maybe, just maybe, there are some people who are cinema fans and like to watch the latest movies, in their original cinema run. But what would I know, I'm just a trend whore.....

But you know what, feel free to enjoy your movies in the comfort of your home, I'll do it at the cinema AND the comfort of my home.
If I want your opinion, I'll give it to you

IMO nothing beats watching movies where they're meant to be viewed... the cinemas.

You're not making any sense. Even your stab about "logic" made absolutly no sense to what I said.

Now about the movie junky thing, I mean I don't go and watch every single movie as soon as they come out. I thought that was clear, but I should have known better from your baffling post.

You still didn't answer my question either, do you just want to continue the fight you started? I'm not going to pretend to know what your problem is.

How about we just agree that some people prefer going to the movies, others prefer watching movies at home. Both have their pros and cons.

    Now can we move on

I think its a little of both for me. As a default, I prefer to watch movies at home because of the set up I have, but for some movies, I will brave the cinema to watch it - eg, it's a pretty cool feeling to watch Iron Man or Prince of Persia in a packed cinema, adds to the atmosphere. For other movies, they can be watched at 8-9pm on weekdays and there will hardly be a soul at the cinema (of course I stay 3mins walk from George Street cinemas, so I abuse it like hell, heh).

PS: 5FDP, cool new avatar and sig there. I always liked Scorpion better than Sub-Zero (maybe just like I prefer T'Cracker and Skywarp to SS).

Cheers mate I was always a fan of Skywarp instead of Starscream too.
