I want the exclusive Keldor and if King Grayskull wasn't so expensive, I would get it. The box is all sorts of AWESOME!

Though the first versions ( classic MOTU were that ways anyways heheheeh)
I have been looking at pics of MOTU Classics and although the line does have much more articulation, they are still stylized in a similar way as the original toys making several figures seem somewhat cartoony, specially Skeletor.

Despite the 'fixed' articulation of the 2002 line, I much prefer them due to the kick ass and more 'realistic' (for lack of better word) sculpts than several of the MOTUC figures. This particularly goes for Skeletor and several other bad guys.

An evil voice within is nagging me to get more MOTU toys! Maybe it was a bad idea to buy 'only' a couple

yeah it is a bad idea, kup. soon it will keep on nagging you, ooh buy me, buyme , buy me! I still yet to find Evil Lyn and Teela, I found them before but geez they're expensive as... between Tf and MOTU I went the Tfs first, but now that Ive completed G1 I may save up for it... well its now between MOTU and DCU. Price wise though DCU is winning, them figures are awesome.. well to me prolly coz Im a DC boy.

I started only with the same figs that you got - Skeletor and Panthor (Mecha Bite), He-man and Battle Cat (samurai armour), then went on to collect the villains gallery. I always start with the villains anyhow even in TFs - I still have to migrate them along with Trap Jaw ( my fave), Triklops and Beastman here. I didnt manage to get many of em, coz by the time I jumped in the bandwagon for this particular series it was already ending, now Im playing catch-up.
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]

The MOTUC Orko is wicked... seriously, I got mine the other day and I'm in love (and this is from a guy who really doesn't like Orko or Prince Adam). The new Orko is a must imo! He looks fantastic!

It's funny, I think that most of the 200X designs have ridiculously over-sized proportions for the most part. Battle Fist's actual hand/fist, or Man-at-arms' shoulder armour for example. I really dislike pre-posed or "fixed articulation" (it's one of my main gripes with Neca's Terminator 2 and Ghostbusters lines), but the designs themselves are great!

That's not to say that I think MOTUC looks realistic. Far from it! I just prefer the comic/original toy designs, and to have super articulated versions is just a dream come true for me.

Thats a great find. But how could it be 1983 with Thunderpunch He-Man and the Hord on it. They come much later 1985 I think.

Whiplash arrived today - very exciting, since he was one of my first humanoid MOTU toys. (I know I had Zoar and Panthor before Whiplash, but he may have been my first action figure.)

It also has the Slime Pit and Horde Trooper on it, which makes it at least from 1986.
