It depends...
+ trading card sized tech specs = plastic card-holder sleeves in folders
+ non-trading card sized tech specs = roller tool box - I keep accessories in there too, but there's one compartment where I keep these tech specs
+ instructions and catalogues: accordion folders - combined weight is heavier than Fortress Maximus! (>5kg!)

the "medium sized" boxes are great for instructions and the "large sized" fits card backs and box backs nicely (aside from supreme sized)

This is a well timed thread, coz I have been wondering about trying an alternate storage method.
This is my current sh!tfight:


I was leaning toward using plastic pockets in a ring binder; sort of one for each bot with all their papers, dvds, print outs, card-backs, or whatever.
I imagine the problem will be with different sized instructions (ie bigger than A4 plastic pocket).
Does anyone use a method like this?

My instructions and catalogues are separated according to different categories in my accordion folders. e.g. one section for Animated, another for Masterpiece and so forth. I have one large accordion folder that looks like this that mostly holds instructions, and another smaller one that looks similar to this which mostly holds catalogues.

My TF DVDs are on a small DVD shelf thingie that looks like this:

The blue ring binder folders contain plastic trading card sleeves that hold all my trading card sized tech specs:


Some of those other folders hold stuff like my fan art, print outs and other misc. TF related documents like my permit to own gun Transformers.

My accessories and tech specs that won't fit in the ring-binder folders go into a roller tool box here (in the corner):

so the card sleeves are plastic, would they trap mmiosture in aswell?...

There is potential for some G1 transformers stickers to develop fungus in the form of tiny lines because they are in their own sealed little micro climate in these bags whenever the temperature increases and decreases. I don't think this would affect cards in sleeves as there is a slit at the top, and providing you keep them in a stable environment.

Fischer is great, and it's Australian made too. I also use Coates plastic stack able drawers to store various parts.
