Really? Hell yeah. When that box art was released the other day with the Prince of Persia one I swear the article said next year, same as the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus re-release. My bad.

Well the HD collection does have a demo of Mortal Kombat 2011 included so maybe that's where the confusion came from. I just hope that MKII plays like MKII and they don't try and tweak it in anyway. I'm also really looking forward to playing the first MK. I still have the game on SNES which IMHO is the best home version (yes, even without the gore).

FIFA 11 released!

I picked up today - it's quite good. Gameplay wise the improvements are marginal really but the overall package is much better (presentation, customisation, personalising all much better than in 10)

Bought the latest DLC for Borderlands, played for a couple of hours before realising they haven't included the new level cap. It will be "released sometime in October as a free patch". Figured I'm not going to continue playing until I'm actually rewarded with something other than XP just going to waste, seeing as how cash rewards are pointless at this stage of the game, and there doesn't seem to be any weapon rewards so far.

I played the 360 demo for Vanquish last night and was pleasantly impressed. It was a short demo but reminded me of Metal Slug(somehow) and Lost Planet.

Also played the demo of Limbo. That is a spooky, creepy little indie game I'd like to play the rest of. It seems more polished and complete than many AAA titles but I hear it is only 3-6hrs long.

Woooo, Westerns and Zombies, my two favourite genres...

tried the Castlevania demo today, not bad. Plays like God of war. Graphics look sweet. Not too sure if it will hold my attention for long though. Also tried the new Tomb raider game. Isometric view point this time with a nifty two player mode. I thought the one player mode would have the aztec guy as AI, but he just dissappears... Might try and rope the wife into playing it to see how different it is. (Good luck with that Tets )

So far I was impressed by TR, some nifty puzzles in there. Can't remember if it has online multiplayeror not. Not often I can get mates around the house...

Also found Aika from Eternal Arcadia and a couple of crew member characters that also show up as soldiers in Valkyria Chronicles. Nice touch. I am really liking that game!

Question for the Playstation 3 owners out there: if I buy a PS3 game from the UK will I have any trouble playing it on my Australian PS3? I believe the answer's no, but would like some confirmation. There's some cheap deals by buying from the UK at the moment.
