Yea I saw him along with Thunderwing at Target St Marys. Was going to buy them, but thought I better not, don't have the money for them. And didn't want to have to line up at the layby (was a massive line)

I bought Skullgrin a weeks ago. It's a pretty decent toy with a totally redone head sculpt. Paint apps are well done too and is really reminiscent of G1 skullgrin. The only down side are the pointy bits of the pick axe which are painted white rather than molded in white rubber. A bit of the paint stuck to the toy's plastic when I first transformed him. Don't think this can be avoided or even visually seen if the toy is sealed.

Oh, btw, Thunderwing is such a simplistic underwhelming toy. Yuck. Really disappointed.

hahah yeah well Ive been able to avoid the layby for a while now since Im always working, sigh, rostered to work on the hoidays... no fun at all

@gdmetro: lucky you!! all my Xmas buying stuff hasnt arrived yet.... sigh.....

@ HD: aww cmooon, it was a pretender toy back in G1. Im just glad we have it simple or not. The bot mode is pretty decent albeit short.

oh very nice. Very resourceful of your wife to be able to find those pieces as well because many are custom and not really available through the more commonly known channels.

My wife didn't get me a Xmas pressie, but she normally buys me whatever I want (or let's me buy whatever I want, as the case may be), s o it's ok.

By the by, I just back from the the shops, and today's acquisitions, have blown my mind. After i come to grips with it, I will post some pics...
