There are a few of us around, but it is pretty barren out our way ay? I usually find what I am after anyhow, just seems like it's fewer and farther between.

Most of the stuff I get these days is at the Parramatta Collectables Fair. If you are free, it's on this Sunday at the Parramatta Town Hall. $6 to get in at 8am I think it is now.

Mixmaster has a great alt mode, but I can't ge over the robot and screwed up ball modes... having said that, I really like demolisher, so I'm my own contradiction.

I too prefer the more traditional stuff, but I Love the moderisation of traditional figures gonig on at the moment, I think a lot has been learned with the designs of the movie toys and has carried over into the classics/rts etc lines.

How often is it? I've never been but I looked it up and it seems interesting what sort of TFs do they normally have, newer stuff or is it rare/collectibles. But 8am is waaay to early to be up on a Sunday!!

Yeah I love the articulation on ROTF Mixmaster, he's a posers dream!

And I agree about the movie stuff modernizing TFs. I really like the new DOTM Shockwave and Sentinel Prime, they look like movie bots but still have that sorta classic feel as well you get me? if only we got more movie characters like that instead of these constant generic spider/insect heads.

Every 3 months. Next one is May something. As for what's there, depends really, could be lucky to find some rare stuff, but mainly newer stuff these days. Though more sellers are selling older stuff these days.

But you're right, 8am is early, I'm up at 6am for this

Yeah, 8am is when the doors open and we rush in! Most of us are already in the line (and it's a LONG line) at about 07:00-07:30. You can come in later in the day if you want, but don't be surprised if a lot of the good stuff's already gone. And as a new budding collector, the fair might offer a lot of goodies for you (for long time collectors like me, I rarely find anything I need, but I like to go for the socialising). I still remember missing out on getting a cheap Deathzaras because I arrived at 08:10! GRAAARGH! (and of course, every time I'm early I never find anything that cool at a cheap price -- stupid Murphy's Law! )

As others have said you gotta be there that early otherwise the Sydney seagulls would strip the place hehehe. There's a mix of old and new stuff on sale every now and then. I myself found heaps of stuff for my G1 collection there.... well mostly parts. Im more of a parts/piecemeal kinda collector nowadays since Ive completed G1 figures wise....Though if you're into other toy lines it would be a real treat as there are heaps of other stuff - Gi Joes, Starwars, DCU. MLs, MOTU, occasionally there be MASK and comics and stuff.
I always come out poor after though even if I m not buying Tfs, I end up buying "other" toys
Wanted AM partner Vanguard, Myclones Dirge, G1 Victory Leo, e-hobby Dark scream ( the black version), e-hobby Magnificus
Parts- AM partner Basher-side guns, G1 Actionmaster Elite Windmill's blades[I][B]
