The United release is pretty good except for the lack of chrome in the dials and 'missile'. You could always try to paint them a metallic silver like the chest panel, it would certainly be a considerable improvement to the Hasbro grey (Or should we now call it TOMY grey?Originally Posted by Lord_Zed

Well whatever grey it is, there isn't much of it thankfully.
Although chromed parts are a 100 times better than grey, its just not a big enough deal for me to buy another figure and operate. If it were something more major like Rotf Prime vs Buster Prime or If I ever see a really cheap RTS Preceptor then I'd probably go for it.

I think RtS Perceptor's head looks better with the G1 toy-accurate yellow eyes. Assuming of course your RtS Perceptor's face doesn't have a massive scratch on it like the first one I got. (-_-)
