I'll admit, that was a pretty hot trailer. It hits the right notes and mostly focuses on Transformers. If this was 2007 or even 2009 - I would be very excited.

BUT the Shia and the Carly girl scenes seem almost copy&paste from Shia/Megan scenes in ROTF. Another concern is that the trailer for ROTF was also pretty damn good but the movie was most certainly not.

It is very possible that the trailer has just shown us most of the best bits of the movie (similar to the ROTF trailer) and that the rest of it will just be mindless Bay fluff like military propaganda, crappy humor, softporn scenes, etc. Also remember that the invasion scene which also looked really awesome in the ROTF trailer only lasted like 3.5 seconds in that movie despite a big emphasis on invasion factor. This makes me thing that I shouldn't count for sure on anything you have seen in this trailer as actually being a major part of the new movie.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.. I will not be getting my hopes up only to have them Bayslapped so I will not get hyped on it. If the movie turns out to be good then we all win but if it doesn't at least I will not be disappointed.

This is my opinion, if you don't like it then feel free to crucify me for expressing myself.

As many have said, the trailer for ROTF looked good, but then the movie was released...

This one seems to have more of a "plot", but will it have a decently written story, or dialogue?

Music is a little cheesy and generic, but I guess with all the actiony movies coming out, the music will all start to sound the same.

I'll see it on the premise that it cannot be worse than ROTF!

I think we need to let go of all this negativity from the admittedly poor RotF and start thinking about this movie as a separate entity, otherwise of course we're gonna pull the trailer to pieces and be in the wrong frame of mind when going in to see the movie.

I think its a highly promising trailer showcasing some epic adrenaline & emotion fueled action scenes to the glorious (yes GLORIOUS) beat of cheesy action music. And come on, Shockwave and the Dreadbots (at 0:58) look soooo cool!
