So true, but I never understand why people react so strongly, or say this a slap in the face, or a huge surprise, it's what Hasbro and co do, they've done it before and they'll do it again and again. Remake the most popular characters over and over again until they are no longer profitable. It would hardly surprise me if they even remade some classics moulds in the near future.

I don't think it's a surprise but I do think it is slap in the face of sorts...one that you see coming from a mile away but you still feel it like a sucker punch.

The Final Final Version of Optimus will be the G1 movie version with real battle damage so you can simulate the epic battle vs Megatron. And afterwards, he changes colour to the dead version.

actually with all these versions, i'd like to see a Hulkbuster version like iron man.
