Hopefully it works out well for you old boy! I believe this be one of the very rare cases where a severed head in the mail isn't such a bad thing.

Zippo how much did shipping on the 4x unicron group order set you back?

That's still dirt cheap at ~$15 shipping per cron'. They must have some sort of partnership going on with one of the carrier services.

Without having to use the RK website, anyone here know the individual shipping price for this big fella as well?

This is my first and only Unicron and I just want to express my surprise at the size of this monster! I was stunned. Pictures really do not do this guy justice. I had to rearrange my shelves to make him fit! Now my TF shelf is full

Generic email templates FTW! I had a feeling this would be a waste of time...

    Email 1:
    Good afternoon,

Yesterday my Transformer order arrived for which I'm very grateful.

It's great, however, a main part is missing. Specifically it's the head of the toys smaller partner as can be seen here:
    http://i661.photobucket.com/albums/u..._83/kranix.jpg

I know that Unicron is currently out of stock but I have noticed that over
the last few days stock has been available (and then quickly sold out
again!. I was really looking forward to having a complete toy and was hoping
you may be able to send me a replacement part when Unicron comes back into stock (just the little toy that's shown in the picture).

Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi,

Thank you for your prompt reply. I don't want to return Unicron for a refund, I just wanted to see if there was any chance of a replacement part should he come back into stock again (as he did earlier today) eg. could one be reserved for me should he come back into stock?

I know that this can feel like banging your head against a wall, but I would personally call, and I would get a supervisor.

I think you're convoluting the situation by asking for a replacement part. Very few places, especially of the scale of Amazon have the infrastructure or environment to do that, and any deviation from the script likely freaks them out. You should simply state that you have a defective item and want a "replacement" [assumed as complete].

Then, that leaves the only deviation to the fact you want it to be replaced by something that's not in stock. This is where I think a supervisor can help you.

The contact us page offers two numbers, domestic (1-866-216-1072) and international (1-206-266-2992). Skype should happily let you call that domestic toll-free number without any credit, just dial it as +18662161072.

Of course, only you know how much time and effort you want to put into this. And of course I offer no guarantee, but this is what I'd do.

Opened my Unicron up last night! Definitely impressed by the size and the deco. Rivals the Takara 2010 Unicron for sure, and for the price, can't be beat.

I was scared to open it up due to all the horror stories, but did so I could potentially inform/do something about it, but luckily there are no qc issues on mine. Guess I was extremely lucky.

Only complaint- is that the wings (that form the ring around the planet) are somewhat floppy- don't know if that is normal issue or not.
