Default Impossible Toys TRNS - Alicon

I'm not sure what toy character this is supposed to represent, but is a new release from Impossible Toys

    And here's the boxart

It's not Gnaw from the G1 toyline (colours match a Sharkticon though), but it seems kind of Quintesson like. Maybe one of their enforcers? Its been so long since I saw the cartoon.

On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

A very nice representation. When the first posts for this guy went up I was interesting in getting 4 (just like that scene where Kup and Hot Rod gets jumped). However it seems like Impossible Toys has set an impossible price (for troop building) on them:

It's also too bad they couldn't get the grey/green shades right.

The box art looks nice and the figure seems decent, but I had hoped the arms in alligator mode were chunkier.

Impossible toys usually release their stuff en masse. The price will probably halve in a few months, just like all their other gear.

Looks pretty cool, completely forgot about these fellas from the movie. Don't they appear in the series episodes too?

yeah I like the box a bit more than the bot - but still wouldn't mind it... $79 for one I think nightbird started at that price too but now look how cheap she is....

That's a good point. It would be interesting to check back with BBTS in a few months.

Not from memory? The ones I do remember seeing with the Quints were more intelligent, capable of basic speech, but not transformation.

Interesting, but Impossible toys style just doesn't really appeal to me.

    Pros:

It looks just like a G1 toy

It looks like an Alicon (or whatever)

    Cons:

It looks just like a G1 toy

    It's 4 times the price of a G1 toy

I agree. It looks good if you wish to add it to your G1 collection but it doesn't work as a modern TF toy.
