It wont pick up any gps signal. I do not know why Do you need to update the thing for it to work?

My first GPS from a few years back took a very long time to pick up the sat, up to 15 minutes depending on location and weather. Sometimes it would pick up in seconds.

My new phone GPS is much more effective, picks up the satellite in around 30 seconds.
