Looking pretty nice, but then so is everyone else's stuff lately. FP's once meteoric lead over the other 3rd party companies has diminished to only a small lead. Yet the quality of their releases has not dropped a bit.

Function-X 'Weird Wolf' and 'Brainstorm'!





Brainstorm looks good in his Sci-fi 'Star Fighter' design. I am looking forward to the robot mode.

Weirdwolf looks great but the head sculpt doesn't seem aggressive enough. However that could easily change with the final paint job as the red eyes would make a huge difference there.

"Breakdown" looks great but do you think these will only be released individually, or is there the chance of a complete set down the track?

I'd say that their initial release will be individual, but I wouldn't put it pass them to release a recolours set later as the g2 stunticons. Maybe that's wishful thinking but they need to recolour the mold to get the most from their investment and the g2 recolour is a obviouse choice

Looks like 3rd parties will be eating most of my budget this year, at least until August when the next LotR lego sets get released!

Weirdwolf's longer nose does make him look comical, but I think the other factors that's reducing his ferocity are lack of sharper-looking fangs/claws and perhaps he could have had his ears drawn backwards to imitate an attack pose. That being said its a very nice update to the original anime design, and I do love how they got his waist thin rather than bulky - must be a tight fit for Monzo!

Fansproject so far has not combined any moulds into a boxset, but this is the first time they're doing a full 5-member team combiner, so hopefully they will do as Maketoys did with Green Giant.
