Just tried the Australia Post site. It came up: Product Not Trackable. May have to try ringing them tomorrow.

If it's still within 45 days of being bought you could start a PayPal dispute. Assuming you used PayPal and the seller is verified.
Have got it marked on the calendar - I can complain to ebay by the 3rd of March and PayPal by the 5th. A shame since I don't think the seller is trying to screw me, but I can't afford to shell out $25 a pop for toys that never show up so I'll have to do something. Cheers for the advice guys!

At least you have a record of what been said between party when you put a dispute And always cancel it when it does arrive but when it doesn't then at least your protected

According to this, the seller is responsible for getting the item to the buyer. That means if it gets lost in transit they must reimburse you and pursue their carrier for the loss.

I had an item take about 3 months to get to me, and the buyer had offered to reimburse only half the price. That's when I checked out the seller's obligations when it came to ebay sales. It did finally arrive, thankfully, however the time to leave positive feedback (for the seller's patience) had expired after 2 months on ebay.

Anyway as others have said, if you have no joy with the seller you can lodge a dispute through either ebay and/or paypal to recover the money. If a seller is shirking their obligations as per ebay policy/rules then you can report them.

Best of luck! I hope things work out for you.

Wow - that is such a dirty, underhanded move! I got angry on your behalf just reading that!

Thanks for that link, I wasn't aware of that before but it is good to know and will help me with the upcoming dispute.

The deadline for me to make a complaint via Paypal and Ebay is the 5th so if Krok hasn't arrived in the mail by tomorrow I'll be putting in my complaint via both those mediums. But fingers crossed he shows up and it ends amicably.

Is G1 Soundwave lighter than the various reissues,(Encore, Classics, etc.)or is it just the flash on peoples' cameras?
I also noticed some photos of MP Soundwave have lighter colours than others.
Probably flash or lighting, or just me...

It could be lighting/photography -- which is why it's always good to have direct side by side comparison pics, as the toys are photographed under the same conditions and so it's a better comparison. The only version of the original G1 Soundwave that I've photographed with MP Soundwave is my Encore Soundwave. My original G1 Soundwave is loose in box, and ceebs to take it out for a comparison pic (it's just easier to use my loose-open Encore Soundwave ).

But here's some comparison pics between original G1, Encore and Hasbro reissue Soundwaves taken during daytime:

Encore Soundwave is a slightly lighter shade of blue. All of the reissues use the more rounded Soundblaster heads with pointier faces, whereas the original has a flatter and broader face and wider visor.

Here are some comparison pics between original G1, Hasbro reissue and Soundblaster. It was taken at night, so the lighting isn't very good.

Kazza- I do believe that is the Japanese Prime series AM-19 Nightmare Unicron combined with the AM-25 Nemesis Prime figure.
I randomly saw it on BBTS the other day, it gets released this month apparently.
