I'm really tempted to buy two Sideswipes.

One to leave as is and match the comic, and the other to use the stickers on, and acquire one of those error heads of Sideswipe's head in red that we saw happen with some of the RA run, so I also have a perfect match for the G2 toy.

i was curious about how i would need to replace the head on my RA and whole upper body is one connected part. looking closer, pretty much everything is held together by pins. so good luck with swapping heads.

I thought the most recent set of official pics from TT showed the head in red?

That way I can use the stickers and one of those error heads for a nice match to the actual G2 toy, and I can leave the other as is for my nice Yanniger G2 Comic Sideswipe.

Best of both worlds, and the big difference in the expressions makes the toy seem even more different.

Ah, sorry, I thought you meant the helmet part of the head rather than the face. I agree that would be ideal as the comic face doesn't look quite right with the toy stickers. If you've got a steady hand and a cheap/KO Lambor to hack apart you might be able to dremel out the G2 face and do a transplant, though once you start going to all that trouble, popping the pins seems relatively easy.

Yeah, me attempting that = a trip to the Emergency Room.

I hope someone does it though, as it'll make for a nice display like that.

And the reason I went for the actual Sideswipe head in the error colour, instead of just using RA's, is for a better equivalency to the old toy - same exact head, and because that way it is unique, as it's a combo we haven't got otherwise (TigerTrack covering the other side of that combination).

It's based on the G2 comic, specifically Derek Yanniger.

Even matches a specific panel (minus a bandolier).
