Ordered online at 8:34 am yesterday ... still no notification. However did receive a receipt from PayPal saying that the purchase went through almost instantly ... so ... waiting game now

So I'm rather uncertain about the notion of online purchases reducing shelf stock now... perhaps not then, seeing as they seem to be posted out from Eastern states, and there is evidence that stock is still floating around here but no longer online.

Same price with mp Soundwave. But remember it still beats buying from Ebay for the deal though. But saying that! it was giving priority to members only!

It's weird to hear Singapore selling something so much more on retail than here... it's been the other way round for the vast majority of retail items (Malaysia as well).

I remember VERY clearly my own experience with MP-10... called around and a lady from Cannington stated that they had none in stock. I decided to go there myself for the heck of it, and lo and behold there were 3 on the shelf when I got mine. And this was only about 1 hour after my phone call.

I trust member eyewitness reports. I don't trust TRU staff answers.

The staff I spoke to at TRU Joondalup seems to be aware that Soundwave is a "HOT COLLECTOR'S ITEM" and that people were going stir-crazy trying to get them so I'd say he's pretty clued in.

They don't take reserves or orders by the phone unfortunately.

For those heading out north, stay safe on the roads and freeways, the police is out in force enforcing speed limits there.

Yeah OK, I think staff who seem to be clued in to the item (to be truthful, more often guys) are more likely to be right. Then again, would you trust them to have checked the back thoroughly and reconcile numbers with those on their system? If they say it's there, then that's almost certainly going to be true... but if they tell you it's not there, well... grain of salt, is what I'm saying. Or spoonful of salt if the staff is tentative and unsure.

Sadly, many staff do not seem to be given much incentive to provide good service. Sure, there are some who are very enthusiastic and helpful, but others just really look like they don't want to be there...
