The mane looks good in Lion mode but not so good in robot mode. The comic robot head also doesn't seem to have been translated that well into plastic.

However, it does seem as if like it was with Hercules, TFC may have better alt modes than the competition but fall short when it comes to individual robot modes and combined mode. Although that Rampage does look pretty ace.

though I actually do like headstrong too - its a pretty solid alt mode and the robot mode looks like Rhinox and pulls it off pretty well. just hate the leg mode...

the only thing positive for TFC's Predaking is the fact they're releasing the central figure first instead of last.

I like it, but I think I'll stick with the MMC one. The TFC one has better beast modes and decent robot modes, however MMC has the advantage when combined and in colour and robot articulation. Overall I would probably be happy with either if we had only got one option.

It looks like TFC are going to beat MMC to releasing Razorclaw though.

With all these double ups you'd think someone would start working on Abominus or Piranacon.
