Star Sabre was the Autobot Commander in 1989's Transformers Victory, available now on DVD from Madman Entertainment! He's a Brainmaster, which is the Japanese version of what we call Motorvators in the Hasbro market -- although the Star Sabre toy itself never became a Motorvator, but same gimmick.

I love the way that they managed to fill a twentieth of the episode's air time just with one dude transforming.

It's like Hasbro telling people at Botcon not to take photos in the presentations, you know someone is going to disregard their request and TFW will put the pictures up on the web.

Whats the point guarding it as a secret if you don't want it leaked? You rather just put a shadow figure if thats what they preferred.

That... is just beautiful. I haven't even watched anything after US G1, but I love the way this looks.

Hope it looks close to your photoshop Kurdt.

It's intended for retailers to see and decide how many units they want to order. The no photography sign is so the manufacturer (Takara) can sell exclusive preview content to hobby magazines.

    Nice work Kurdt.
Which brings us to where we are today...

They take the no photo shit a bit too seriously .... Check out tfyuki on twitter who just responded to my tweet to him asking what he thought of the colours and how excited i was:

@TFYUKI: @PocketPowerToys You are using the photo which must not exist. It is very unpleasant. Necessary to eliminate. This is the worst situation.
