Ah, i had forgotten about the prototype pics Kyle took.
Since the prototypes lack colour, it's easier to work in reverse, leaving OP the same, and colouring in the City Commander.
The bits that are grey in this pic are actually silver on the toy i think, but i can't make it look like silver!
You're right in that you can barely see the underlying toy. This is also the first time i noticed City Commander has his own hands... maybe i'm slow!
