It's strange that they will still "give" you something after all eBay is gonna protect the buyer and the fees refunded. Why bother giving something when it's a scam? More out of pocket expense.

It's so the tracking says it's delivered, so you can't honestly say it never arrived, just that the item was not as described. Then you might have to send it back at your own cost to be refunded, blah blah blah. It's preying on that, the 45-day dispute window, and the fact that lots of people can't be arsed to deal with the effort of disputing it all.

I stumbled across this thread whilst searching for more information about masterpiece transformer auctions appearing on ebay.

I too had put in a bid for a MP10b from ebay user jan7710 as well as a MP09b from user xqun8811.

It appears jan7710 are now no longer be a registered user and has received 14 negative feedback scores.

All of my Ebay experiences up until now have usually been pretty good. I have to say I feel pretty disappointed that I'm escalating to a paypal resolution centre dispute.

Fingers crossed for a favorable outcome from the paypal resolution centre.

The old adage; if it's too good to be true, it probably is...

With the exception of the cheap MP-05's, do any of these cheap MP stories have a happy ending?
