None of the MP Cars come w/ detailed insides; that's more of a Binaltech/Alternity thing. Also, the Amazon Japan and Asia exclusive versions of MP Bumblebee come with the toy-accurate alternate faceplate.

IMO he is worth getting because of the approved licensing.
I think I might prefer the tiger track yellow on bee.
Not worth $99
$80 is pushing
$70 might be the right price. Then again the licensing might be the main cost.

Can someone advise on the safest way to change the faces on Bumblebee without taking off paint or damaging it?

A sturdy edge made of wood or plastic like a credit card will do. If you're not worried about metal objects scratching paint a table knife works. You only need to start prying it off. Once you have the initial crack you can pull it off with your fingers.
