It's a pity the didn't release this instead, and sadly my gokin has reached.
I was going to say something about your comment about it being all plastic..
    I noticed you edited it.

Makes me wonder if they are doing this cause of Madtoys' version. haha.

Can't say, but being Toyami, they have taken HG approach, and that's to nail any third party from making Voltron. I have read rocketpunch Army that when he reviewed the 30th anniversary version he had chat with Toyami, and said he was a nice chap and said he isn't against third party but I doubt it.

Pretty much you were right, WEP has given exclusive rights to them, and we will never see a Voltron toy made by Bandai or anyone else with license.

As for this new toy, I think only Voltron mode appeals to me, but the foot looks off.

Interesting... I don't hate it, but they certainly do look like dogs. I happily await colour pictures and more news. But to be honest the lions look a bit too stylised for my tastes. Although if the price is good, why the hell not?

    Ha ha ha! Yeap.

Judging from what they did with the anniversary one, it wouldn't surprise me to see this have it's price jacked up to the ridiculous $$$. I wouldn't pay more than $200 I thin for a mass produced Voltron
